Love in action

Hope works
in the community.

Serving others is one way we live our faith — close to home and throughout the Kansas City area.

Hope's Blessing Box stocked with food

At our church

The Blessing Box

The Women of Hope Blessing Box is self-serve and located at the northwest corner of the building. Anyone who needs hygiene items or canned goods may take what they need.

If you can share, leave items in the box or bring them to the church office.

Our community connections

Many ways to lend a hand.

Lazarus Ministries

Hope serves with Lazarus Ministries to help meet the needs of neighbors in Kansas City’s urban core. Contact the office to learn about opportunities to help with meals and service.

Lone Jack Mule Pack

The Mule Pack program sends easy-to-prepare, kid-friendly food and snacks home with students for the weekend. Donations help support local families.

Hillcrest

Hillcrest helps people move from homelessness toward independence through housing and supportive programs. Hope shares in this work of caring for our neighbors.

Helping Hands Food Pantry

Hope collects nonperishable food throughout the year for the Lone Jack Helping Hands Food Pantry, located in the basement of the Christian Church.

For assistance, donations, or volunteering, call 816-697-2985.

Never Alone

Never Alone is a Christian ministry serving neighbors in Kansas City’s East Bottoms through meals, practical essentials, Bible study, and friendship.

A place for community

Hope opens its doors to community groups, including Lone Jack Cub Scouts and Scouts. Contact the church office about meeting space and current group schedules.
